Layer 8 Security Attends Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Annual Ball

Continuing with the call to assist others, Layer 8 Security took to the Union League of Philadelphia on April 9 where the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF) held their annual ball to raise funds and show support for the families of Marines.

“Layer 8 Security is proud to continue our sponsorship of this worthy charity. We’re looking forward to other opportunities to support the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation,” says Jeffrey Lipson, Executive Director of Layer 8 Security and Board Member of the MCSF Philadelphia Committee. “Giving back to the community is a key aspect of what makes Layer 8 Security a great company to be a part of.”

Founded in 1962, The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is the nation’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children. For 54 years, the MCSF has provided access to affordable education for the children of Marine and Navy Corpsman attending post-high school, under-graduate and career technical education programs.  In that time, the MCSF has provided more than 35,000 scholarships worth nearly $100 million.
